Youghal is a lovely town.We have a lovely harbour and a lovely selection of pubs and restraunts.We have a lovely clock gate and lovely scenery and a loevly beach.Enjoy Youghal the gateway to all the Cork has to offer.

Old world town full of history-unspoiled beaches-still convenient to Cork city,airport etc when needed. Great place to retire to. Friendly people.

I have been visiting family in Youghal for more than 30 years and I love visiting it as much as they love living there. It's a lovely old town with lots of history. The beach is wonderful for long walks. I like the small, interesting shops on Main Street. I would hope very much that the businesses do not move to the edge of town following the bigger supermarkets. it's important to preserve the character of towns like Youghal.

I moved here six years ago. Love the place and the people. On the negative side, the main footpath leading from the beach to the town is permanently full of dog poo. Nasty smell. People renting apartments abuse of communal areas and put washing on ba...
I moved here six years ago. Love the place and the people. On the negative side, the main footpath leading from the beach to the town is permanently full of dog poo. Nasty smell. People renting apartments abuse of communal areas and put washing on balconies. Some parts therefore look like tenement areas. It's a shame. There are also some young teenagers who go around in groups causing damage to property and leave broken bottlet etc on the beach. Further, they put their dirty shoes on seats in the busses and 80% of people leave refuse on the bus seats. This is very unpleasant for daily commuters.

Been here the last 5 years. Youghal is a fantastic town. Full of history. It has town walls and a medieval hospital type building. Long sandy beaches and easy access to the countryside. Very happy to have moved here.
