I moved to Shankill 2 years ago and have found it to be a great place to live. JObs wise i am unsure as I haven't looked in the area. The village itself is very well maintained and policed. The Gardai in the area are very friendly and have tried for ...
I moved to Shankill 2 years ago and have found it to be a great place to live. JObs wise i am unsure as I haven't looked in the area. The village itself is very well maintained and policed. The Gardai in the area are very friendly and have tried for many years to clear Shankill's bad name and I belive it has worked. I love the community fell of the area with many outings and village fairs through the year. Ther are 4-5 schools in the area. You are always close to transport be it the train or the bus. I would happily speak highly about Shankill if ever asked...

I moved to shankill and sed i would only stay two years and 15y later still here have moved 3 times in shankill as family grew so safe for children and its like living in the country as so small but the joy of having all at your door step schoo...

Great community spirit. Easy access to city and countryside via M50. Love the sea being so close. Park with outdoor exercise equipment and bike paths is a real bonus. Needs a good supermarket.

The location is beautiful - between the mountains and the sea. The village is pretty, and has won awards in the Tidy Towns recently. Transport to Dublin is great - DART, good bus services, the Air Coach. A problem is lack of a good supermarket since...
The location is beautiful - between the mountains and the sea. The village is pretty, and has won awards in the Tidy Towns recently. Transport to Dublin is great - DART, good bus services, the Air Coach. A problem is lack of a good supermarket since the shopping centre was sold for development (as apartments) a few years ago - and is now a derelict eye sore, since it was sold just at the wrong time.

Schools are brilliant and so is community spirit. Lovely park for kids and walking dogs. On dart line which is handy. Sea view is incredible just 5 mins walk away from most places in shankill. No supermarket right now though which is annoying. Brilli...

No supermarket right now though which is annoying. Brilliant pub. Cars can be at a risk of being vandalised in certain areas.
