The social life is brilliant. No matter what night of the week you want to go out or what time of the year it is, you'll find something happening and the craic during the summer is fantastic.

Galways a very rewarding place to live, full of life and culture. I you want somewhere you will fit in and be welcomed no matter who you are, come to Galway. If moving here look for accommodations in the suburban areas as they are cheaper than the town centre but can still be costly; average monthly rent is €1,000.

Best of craic here, everyones really friendly and its not full of snobby, pretentious people, the majority of poeple are sound and there's good facilities and the nightlife is good too :)
