Having lived in Dublin, Galway and Cork over the last 30 years. Cork is my favourite, even though I'm a Galway man at heart. It's a great compact city with beautiful countryside and coastline on its doorstep. The are a fantastic variety of pubs and restaurants in the city and the place always has a great atmosphere. If you to live in the city centre, the north side is better but if you want to live in the suburbs, the south side is better. I want to go back. Ah the Mutton Lane Inn and the English Market.

Great city but once you leave the centre to go to nearby suburbs services get worse-should really extent the city boundary so that one council look after suburbs and nearby satellite towns.

Cork is one of the nicest cities i ever lived in. The people are funny and very witty. There are so many beautiful places to visit as well and the city center is unlike any place in Ireland its very active as is the night life.

Great night-life. Great people. Great culture. Walk everywhere! Although, as a previous comment mentioned, services is suburbs are not so great. The main focus is definatly City Centre, which is probably part of the charm!
